Hi Thinkpad forums.

I know this isnt Thinkpad-related, but thought I'd share a coupe of pictures with you I took earlier today at the local airport.

Moderators: If its too off-topic, delete the thread :)

Cam is a Konika Minolta 5D with a 75-300mm lens.

Nice pics! Thanks.

The EU skies are certainly full of low fare carriers....

Thank you for your opinions.

JHEM: Isnt the craft you linked to the independent space program? How (or where?) on earth did you get to photograph that? :o Very nice pic, by the way.

Well, Billund is a city with approx. 8.000 citizens. So, the airport and craft are dimensioned accordingly I suppose  Most craft here are 737's and some Fokkers flying to Great Britain.

While we are at it, these are some pics I took awhile ago at the glider's club nearby. Finished off with a short round-trip in a tandem. Great day :)

So do I, but it can only make me connect to the internet. Maybe my T43 was shipped with a limited version?

Nice DG!

Have you seen the "T" variant with the self launch capability?

Or the jet powered "J" variant?

Yes, that's the White Knight and Spaceship One in the link I posted.

Here's the Global Flyer!

For the record, these particular photos were taken by my son while we were at Airventure last year at Oshkosh. (7 days and counting!)

Camera is a Canon EOS Rebel with a 300mm zoom lense.

Whoa, those are pretty evil
Never seen a prop or jet version in real life, though.

Too bad we dont have airshows like that here. Not so elaborate, at least.

I thought I'd share a few more photos with you.

A meeting of turboprops, TBM700 (with one of the worst cases of turbo-rash I've seen in a long time!) and PC-12.

Awesome pics and great quality...

Sigh, that reminds me that I have to get a new digital camera too; else no more hi-quality pictures. :|

Great pictures, JHEM :)

EDIT: By the way, those turbo-prop models seem to have a hot air exhaust.

The pictures just remind me that there are no lappys deserving a good job as that... so let's watch airplanes...or whatever else...

Thanks for letting have the experience of pretending I was heading to HK in a Lufthansa's plane! (heading north pole?) watching the video was refreshing to me, a different thing in the middle of the sometimes boring daily work...
