GUIDE: SUSE 10.1 on Thinkpad T60 (1953-E4U) FOR BEGINNERS

ofcourse i have another problem, since i enabled the finger reader on log in screen when i type user name and password, press enter it takes up to 3 min to log in. It just sits there, it doesn't move, waits waits and than after 3min it starts to log in.

Are you sure the login problem is caused by the finger reader? My friend has a T60 which doesn't have a finger reader, and he once told me that he got the same slow-login problem when he enables the xgl.
I'm installing SuSE to my T60 right now and will see if I get the same problem (mine doesn't have the finger reader either).
