Disconnecting From Router!

#1 Post by KivanAtaris » Wed Jul 19, 2006 8:30 am

Hey All!

I just bought an IBM Thinkpad and also currently have 3 iMACs in our house. I've connected all of these to a router to grab internet. Everytime I log on with my Thinkpad it kicks the other 3 iMACs off the router. Is there just some setting I'm missing? Does anyone know what's going on?

Thanks!

Have you tried rebooting all the machines at the same time. Sounds like you are having an IP conflict, make sure your thinkpad is set for DHCP, unless you have it configured otherwise for your network reasons.

Gotta move this post, it should be in thinpad/general.. :)
