Boot on the R40 via Ultrabay

#1 Post by TeatroAbsurdoAshes » Wed Jul 19, 2006 5:18 pm

As a new at the Community; I wish to everyone a good time with IBM lap tops! I am using IBM A22m- still in excellent condition- and T20- both on docking Station and with Ultrabay- holds other HD and connected via my network and infrared. Running XP with SP2 without any serious problem. my main lap top is the R40 with UltraBay. I want to ask the more experienced IBM users: it is possible to boot other operating system from the Ultrabay or?
Thank You;

Welcome to the Thinkpad Forums :)

Yup; simply put a HDD with an OS, or OSes in a 2nd HDD ultrabay adapter and you should be ready to go. :D

I met someone who looks a lot like you.
She does the things you do.
But she is an IBM.
