T42 have shared video? Or am I safe?

Were any of the T42's made with shared video? Or can I assume that I am safe on this issue?

I don't want shared video.

T42s at least come with Radeon 7500. However, integrated video nowadays is fairly powerful.

I am still confused by the last posting? Does this mean that some T42 has shared video? I really don't want shared video; regardless of how powerfull they are. I don't like them.

No T42 does not come with video chip that uses main memory as video memory.

Depends on the model you're going after. The t42's vary a huge range from intel integrated video (which I believe uses shared) to radeon 7500's, 9600's and firegl t2's (which have 128mB built in)

If I remember correctly, all FireGL T2 models actually have the T42p denomination.
Are you sure there have been any T42 models with shared video? I never heard of one myself. Can you share any model numbers?

My bad, I was thinking of the other T4x models, there is no intel option for video with the T42's

Not at all close; the T43 has sub-model available where they utilize the Intel GMA900 integrated graphics controller.

Geez, where are you guys getting your info from? Integrated Graphics on the T42? none on any T4X? Radeon 7500 the lowest they go?
