ibm thinkpad recovery program problems...help please...

i just upgrade my harddisk from 20 gigz to 40 gigz. then i have copy the ibm service hidden partition using norton ghost. when i turn on my laptop nothing happen but blank screen. whats wrong? any other suggestions how to copy the ibm recovery program to my new harddisk? thanks.

i don't have any experience w/ norton ghost, but to get the hidden partition back onto your new hard drive, the best way i know how to do it is using the recovery cd's.

any chance you can get a hold of a set of those...?

no man. i dont have any recovery cds. i bought my laptop secondhand.
