Icons appear pixellated

#1 Post by bri » Sun Jul 23, 2006 10:51 pm

Since I got my T60, the Quick Launch and System Tray icons have looked weird. They are slightly larger and more pixellated than on my other computers and compared to a T43 with the same screen (SXGA+). I thought it was setting the fonts to 120 dpi but changed it back and it's the same. Attaching pics which were hard to focus. Is this a Windows setting?

Ill ask the obvious questions. Is your screen set at its native resolution?

From the looks of it you may have a real problem, but those pictures arent really as clear as would be necessary for me to be sure.

I am using native resolution SXGA+ 1400x1050, everything else on the screen looks normal except those small icons.

I have the dpi setting at 120 but I just changed it back to 96 and all the fonts got smaller but the icons are still the same. this is so odd...

Check color is set to 32 bit. Otherwise missing colors use "nearby" equv's which can result in pixelated borders.
