The weird thing, any help?

I've got my Thinkpad T43 for 2 months. Right now I've got the strange thing on my screen. It's appeared one white pixel (maybe dead or stuck pixel sometimes). It is located randomly on the screen. However it will disappear when I restart my laptop. Any idea will be appreciated. Maybe I need to return it and get a new one (I bought an extended 3 years warranty).

It is caused by touchpad driver or so. Use Software Installer to get most recent IBM/Lenovo drivers.

a dead pixel is a failure of a lcd pixel that is permeant and it will be a black dot. a stuck pixel is a pixel that is consistantly the same color.
now since your problem happens randomly around the screen, it can't be a stuck pixel or dead pixel, can it?
