Brand new, $260:

IBM FRU #13N7046 (BOE-HYDIS OEM #HT14P12). Some people prefer it over the Samsung 92P6737 or 92P6760.

E0Mtp, have you dealt with them, because I am also looking for a new LCD for my T42.

I have not bought from them. I have spoken to them because I wanted to know how they operate; I was searching for additional sources to IBM. They know their business (at least on the phone!).

There is no big difference between a new one and a used one. You need to get one that has no dead or bright pixels. That is it. I bought one for my T43 which got a broken LCD. The LCD was as bright as my X40 and former T41.

I bought from my partner. It comes directly from the factory (as refurbished but I think it is like brand new) and very cheap too. Without tax, without any shipping fee, it is around $120. Those actually are the ones that are sold at least $260.

But unfornately, I cannot offer you one for now. I can get a lot of computer parts by the end of this year and offer heavy discount for forum members but for not for now.

To be frankly, I do not trust the companies that are listed above. I talked to few of them and was not very comfortable. You may want to go through the eBay way.
