X6 UltraBase Docking station - cd drive doesnt respond

Ive only been able to get the docking station to work once. When it worked i played an audio cd. When i was turning off the computer i noticed above the windows start button was a turn off docking station, i clicked on it and it had an animation of how to correctly disconnect the ultrabase.
Since doing this i havent been able to work the ultrabase. When i turn the laptop on now with the ultrabase connected the cd drive will open and close but windows doesnt play an audio cd anymore.
Please help!
