System Update, Software Installer don't find some update

Do any Z60t user notice that System Update
& Software Installer don't find some updates
which are listed on Z60t Product support driver Page.

Missed Updates like:

• ThinkVantage Productivity Center
  Hotkey driver
  ThinkVantage Away Manager
  Configuration utility
  Client Security Solution
  ThinkVantage System Migration Assistant
  BIOS Update

Maybe more.....

Is it normal......??

I noticed that too. In fact, when I was having problems, I used both to update my Z60t. Still had problems so I went in and manually looked at the list of software and many things could have been updated but weren't. So I manually updated more than half the software on my laptop. Even now, Software Installer tells me I have version 0.04 and version 0.03 is available (just an example, but you get the idea).

I suspect the newer versions have not been tested enough to release to the world.

mine missed a lot of updates too....
guess you should go to the update page on the web & check for yourself since you cant be sure you are actually up to date. BTW the update programs themselves have been updated....
