Catalyst 6.7 drivers

#1 Post by jjesusfreak01 » Sat Jul 29, 2006 2:21 pm

Has anyone downloaded the Catalyst 6.7 drivers yet? Though normally they wont work on Thinkpads, there are programs designed to let them install on any mobile system, specifically the DHModTool.

You can get the newest version at http://users.skynet.be/FCB/files/DHModtool4c.exe

The program has a help screen to give precise directions on how it works. I read on DriverHeaven that the file at http://www.ati.com/online/mobilecatalyst/ doesnt check on the type of laptop, if anyone wants to try it, but I cant guarantee that it works, but the ModTool does work.

I ran the 6.6 desktop drivers this way, and just successfully installed the 6.7 drivers.

I use Omega Drivers - they work nice. However unlike the original drivers that came with my T41p they dont support OpenGL. Only directx stuff comes up in the properties.
