T42p memory in T20 series?

#1 Post by Marc_G » Fri Aug 04, 2006 6:05 am

Hi Everyone,

My wife's old T20 (used to be mine, long ago!) is being replaced by a new T60 I just bought for her. The T20 still works, but I'm thinking to up its memory (currently 2 x 128 mb = 256) using one or both of the original 512 MB modules from my T42p.

Will this work? I haven't compared the RAM modules for fit yet, but figured the knowledgeable people here could tell me if the newer, faster memory from my T42P would work in an old, slower T20...

Thanks in advance for help with what may be a very stupid question!

And the max memory for the T20 is 512MB (2 x 256MB).
