internal wireless in T21?

so I have a dell trumobile 1150 card (802.11b I believe) that "works" in my T21 (if I replace the modem in the mini pci that it came with).

"works" is in quotes because windows can detect it and load a driver. However, antenna is obviously an issue.

Is there any "good" way to hack an antenna into this thing. I have 2 pcmcia cards that I've used in the past, but want to experiment.

It's been discussed before several times.. Use the "Search" feature at the top of the page and enter:

adding internal wireless

into the Search Query box, be sure to check "Search for all terms", limit the search to the T2x/T3x conference (dropdown box Forum:), leave all of the other options at default, and then click the Search button. You should find these two threads:

The solution is pretty much change the LCD housing to the antenna ones. The housing is as rare as a gem......as I would say. I'm looking for one as well.

And the other solution I have seen posted is to lay the antenna underneath the keyboard in an area which doesn't have much metal in the way to block the signals.

I had looked into installing an external antenna jack in the T2x but came up empty. The RP-SMA bulkhead pigtail I used in my 600Xs doesn't seem to fit anywhere in the T2x. I'm thinking that there might be an even smaller RF jack that I could use but I've put that project on the back burner for awhile since I've got other ones I'm working on.
