I have an x60 on its way to me. It was shipped on 2/25 via 2-day UPS and today is the 28th... the tracking shows the following...

As you can see, UPS has delayed this package 3 times now already with no sign of it being released to me anytime soon

I called Lenovo and they refunded me my shipping so at least I got that back. Hopefully this thing comes soon... apparently it can take up to 7 business days for a package to clear customs. BOO!

I have also ordered an X60 and I have received the exact same problems as you. Mine is also sitting in customs in Louisville. My latest tracking update says I should receive my X60 tomorrow. Unfortunately I have been told that before. I guess I will get mine when you get yours. Best of luck My tracking from UPS below.

It would definitely appear our laptops are on the same shipment. UPS just keeps saying the estimated date is the next day and then it gets pushed back. Hopefully they arrive soon!

Lenovo updated their site a bit; now when you add a computer to your cart, it gives you an estimate ship date. Right now it's saying 3/17/2007 for an X60s.

As an update, my x60 came the next day after my last post in here (Thursday the 1st of March). It shipped a week early but took 2 extra days to get to me (4 days instead of 2 days). I'm just happy it came in one piece

That is a great sale! I spent $200 more for the same system I could get now just weeks ago... thus is technology I suppose

I love my x60! It has not given me one single issue since I received it about 3 weeks ago. The only slight gripe I have is it does get a tad warm on the right palm rest. It is not enough to make using it uncomfortable so I'm not bothered. I had a MacBook before getting the X60 and the X60 makes the MacBook seem like a monster. Even the X60 is extremely light so the X60s is going to be a real treat for you.

That is funny your friend lives in Greenwood. It really is a small world. I will be moving to the Avon, IN area in July though but still not very far.

Funny. I am passing along my MacBook to my wife while I am on vacation...so I too will be replacing a MacBook with a new ThinkPad.

I also currently have a T23 which I use pretty much all the time (another reason for passing along the MacBook)...I'm addicted to the trackpoint!!

Yep, Stevens Point. The laptop got released from customs and is on the truck out for delivery today.

Stevens Point is about a 100 miles north-ish of Columbus. I have some family that is from Beaver Dam, WI which I think is only 10 miles or so from Columbus.

Do you have your laptop with you in Iraq?

Picked up an X60, 2gigs of RAM, 120gb HDD, X6 UltraBase.

My old Dell laptop has failed one component at a time over the last 6 months and is beyond warranty. The new ThinkPad can't arrive fast enough.

I think our laptops might be in the same shipment, ewebb. My tracking information is almost identical to yours. Anybody know how long a typical trip through customs takes? I'm wondering if this is going to clear itself up in the next day or two, or if I should expect to not have a laptop for work anytime soon.
