Widescreen T-series Thinkpad coming .... October?

I know your an R series fan but I would agree it makes more sense as the whole point of R series is that they should be less expensive than T series (hence why the R60e only comes with 15" XGA). However, with the R60, I have never seen an R series which was so similar to a T series and I cannot understand why it appears to get so ignored.

There seems to be an assumption here that a wide screen T would REPLACE the existing T series line-up. I don't think anyone has been talking about replacing 4:3 screens, have they.

To clear up any misunderstanding as to how this thread started I shall explain. I have Laptoplogic bookmarked and visited within minutes of it being posted that widescreen T60's where coming. I also was reading posts in this forum at the same time in another browser window. Owing to the fact that no one had posted it yet in the T60 forum and the fact that there has been discussion in the T60 forum about widesceen versions, I posted it there.

Normally I do not look in the general comments section.

My apologies if I stole someone elses thunder. I truly believed I posted in the right forum. I hope all is forgiven and forgotten.
