"Hot" smell with new T60

This is my first Thinkpad, a 200763U.

Ever since I got this machine I've noticed a "hot metal" smell periodically. I've had it now for about a month. The smell is faint, not overpowering. I notice it several times a day but then it goes away.

Any ideas what it might be and what I should do about it?

Does it feel hot? You may be enjoying the new "break in" period smell. They should bottle it and sell it.
