I prefer road bikes, speed, always faster then cars in city, sometimes riding near buses (stupid

). What i like in it is freedom, I can go anywhere I want, it`s free, i`m lovin it

I have also mountain bike but since I`m riding on road I use it only on competition.

i'm a wanna be bike nut. i was building a fixie but my bike got stolen. i'm thinking about buying a fixie with a surly frame.

I have, since 1994 done the Toronto - Waterloo bike ride for MS. This year I am away, but I did it for 11 years. 100 Km out, stay overnight, 100 Km back and I'm still good for an average speed of 23 Km / hour or so. I train during the spring and summer and enjoy the Toronto waterfront trail. Freedom - you bet. ... JD Hurst

Looking good. I got a used trek 2300 last year and have been riding ever sense. I love the thing, i have been riding about 15 to 20 miles a day with a 18 to 20 mph average.

I take my mountainbike to the Danish countryside once in a while, although mostly using it in the city. Sometimes riding on specific MTB trails that are out there, sometime just in the direction the wind blow. Nothing beats just going straight through the wood with no road or trail to follow

There you enjoy & here i am drooling... Singapore too small already. Must come out and breathe if i ever got the time and $$$.

I ride my mountain bike to school everyday. Every weekend, i will start to do a maintenance especially oil the parts and make sure they don't creak.

My bike is a Ducati 999R Fila Superbike. And a stack of 5 rear tires....

I have a Trek aluminum road bike. Stiff, harsh and lightweight. I was coming down the Niagara Escarpment one of those MS rides. It was raining, and there was no way to stop or turn (35 Km/hr) and I crashed. Luckily (?) the road was very wet, and I slid without any serious damage, just lots of blood. It has new wheels and tires now, and I haven't crashed recently. ... JD Hurst

After my leg injuries, I built an EZ racer/tourEZ clone and rode it for 2 or 3 years locally, but my legs got worse and worse. I can no longer ride a two wheeler very far. I bought a Sun EZ-3 trike, and for the price, and the range of my riding, now, it does fine. I'm thinking of building a better trike, and I also want to experiment with hand cranked.

The holdup there is building the cranks themselves. Something like commercial "bullhorn" cranks are 250 US dollars. I have to have that style so my legs will clear---I want to pedal, too!!

Please don't land yourself in the hospital... Please!!! We still need you here. Be careful and don't cycle in the rain. Luckily God Bless You.

Please don't curse yourself to crash again. I don't want to see you with a broken limb or something similar or worse still in the hospital with the head wrapped up. Please be careful and stay away from slippery wet grounds.

Yeah, Denmark isn't exactly rocky
