But for the average joe, it'll be fine. The reason why most BIG BUSINESS dont' wanna upgrade or can't rather is because of their customzied internal programs. SP2 with it's new firewall and scripting security features makes it a problem to run intranet programs.

If you are an average user that uses Windows XP, MS Office (or Open Office), Adobe Products, Anti Virus you'll be fine.
