760XL and 760XD parts compatibility?

Hey,

I have a beautiful condition 760XL, but I'm sick of the 800x600 screen.

I also recieved a 760xd off ebay, but the seller shipped it in a padded envelope so it arrived in horrible condition. It has case damage, and it seems to have problems with the cd-rom drive staying connected.

I was wondering if it was possible to transfer parts like the screen, the graphics card (if different) and the video in/out card from the xd but keep the other parts (like the system board) from the xl?
