T23 Doesn't Power Up

#1 Post by marco1 » Thu Aug 17, 2006 4:49 pm

Hi Everyone
Bought a T23 off e-bay the other day and upon starting it up for the first time I got a white flash on the screen and then blank. I replaced the memory and the hardrive and still nothing. I tryed an external monitor and still nothing only now when I power it up I don't even get the white flash anymore. I do get a noise from processor cooling fan which wirls up and down. I tryed reformating the original hardrive on another t23 and I couldn't get past 40% done. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

do you mind sharing the ebay item number? let us know what the seller does for you in terms of a refund or replacement.

Unfortunatly the laptop was doa and the sellor is nowhere to be seen
He has since become an unregistered user. I have a dispute filed with paypal. Unfortunate because i've bought quite a few in the t series and this is the only one that's given me any trouble.
