Who uses MSDOS/PCDOS on a recent/current Thinkpad?

#1 Post by f1reverb » Thu Aug 17, 2006 5:04 pm

Not an msdos window, but as an msdos computer, or pcdos or drdos or Caldera dos. I have an HP Omnibook 5700 (with a trackpoint) that I've been using for the last nine years as my dos computer, using Caldera Dos 7.02. CD 7.02 is great, especially the task-switcher, but the bios is limited to an 8gb hard drive, and Caldos has no fat32, and there are no updates. I'd like to use my R52 as my dos computer using 98se dos, but the lack of a task-switcher is my main problem to overcome. It looks like I'll have to use Desqview, but I'm wondering if there are other options I'm not aware of. TIA.
