This is my first computer with a trackpad. I admit it, after years with a trackpoint, I still love the trackpoint. However, I am finding that the trackpad is more useful for web browsing, while the trackpoint is better for editing documents, etc. since my fingers are already on the keyboard.
So, I was curious about everyone's favorite trackpad settings, especially the corner command activations, I'm not entirely happy with mine, but can't figure out the best settings.
I currently have the scrolling both right and bottom on, with long distance scrolling at the edges turned on (love it), but coasting turned off.
I'm using the top left for right click, and the bottom left for middle click. I'm not using the top right or the bottom right sides of the touchpad now, and can't figure out what to do with them.
I'm eager to hear how others have their trackpad set up.
your favorite trackpad settings?
Re: your favorite trackpad settings?
My favorite TrackPad setting is off. It allows me to use the TrackPoint, without any issues.mj wrote:This is my first computer with a trackpad.
