T60p problem - Laptop goes to undock when right clicking??

#1 Post by jeffz » Fri Aug 18, 2006 8:04 am

I have a user whose T60p is making the undocking sound and brings up the undock window message when he right clicks or hits the double down arrows to further expand a menu.

This laptop has latest drivers, bios(1.09a), etc. and happens mainly in Solidworks (although that is the app he most frequently uses). This is also occurring with another T60p and dock here.

Does anyone have any experience with this?

Thank you

I've never heard of this before. The only things I can think to check are:

1. Look at the mouse properties (in the Control Panel/Mouse) and make sure that the right button hasn't been redefined to start a custom app.

2. Look at the Thinkvantage Keyboard Customizer (Start->ThinkVantage->Keyboard Customizer) to see if something strange isn't going on in there. In fact, I would disable custom actions to see if it solves the problem. I've had to fiddle with that program before to get things to work right with the left/right browser keys.
Apathy is on the rise, but nobody seems to care.

I will take a look at it Monday. Thank you very much for the suggestions!
