T43 & USB keyboards

I've come across a weird issue that I have logged with WESS but wondered if anyone else has come across it.

Basically on my T43 (w/fprint reader) when I boot my laptop with a USB keyboard attached everything is fine. If I disconnect the USB keyboard and re-attach it, or attach a USB keyboard post bootup it gets detected fine but no input is received from the keyboard.

I tried the test on a T41 and it was fine.

Anyone else come across this?
