R&R and files unable to be backed up

I just did R&R on local disk, and it ran across several files it couldn't back up because they were either corrupted or in use. (A couple of them looked like Security-related files, which is a little worrisome.) Anyway, I had to keep looking over to see if it was asking me to Retry, Skip, or I think Cancel was the other option. Is there any way to set it so it doesn't ask me each time? It's impossible to do an unattended backup this way.

Also, does each R&R overwrite the previous one? It's not incremental or anything, right?
