Dim Side of LCD Screen

I've been using my T60p with the 15" screen for a few months now and I've noticed that the right side of my screen looks slightly dimmer than the rest of the screen, almost like slight gradient. I thought it was just due to my eyes or just the angle of view, but when I went to battery power, the dim portion was much more pronounced. Is this something that is covered under warranty or does more of the screen have to look weird / fail before I can get it looked at?

My T60p 15" UXGA screen also has the same symptom. It's not very pronounced, but it's there. I'm interested in hearing how common this exactly is.
