Purchased in June,

2637-UN6

t2500 2Ghz Dual Core
1GB RAM DDR2 667Mhz (one stick)
100GB HD
ATI Mobility Radeon X1400 128MB
15.1" SXGA+
DVD + R/RW Dual Layer
16-bit Audio with integrated speaker and microphone
Atheros Integrated A/B/G
3 x USB 2.0
PCMCIA Type I/II
ExpressCard/54 Slot or 34
9 Cell battery

I recently began using a MBP and found that for my needs it fits alot better than this machine. Im looking for the best offer, as I paid quite a bit for this.

I bought the computer through the university I am currently at and purchased their warranty, which is a full 4 years, and covers everything. However, I do not know how that would translate in selling the machine to an outside person.

Please look at the warranty thing, and post a asking price.

I have found out that the four year extended warranty is tied to the serial number of the laptop, not the university.

As for a price, I know what I paid for the machine, and know that even though it is only 3 months old, severe depreciation on the market is most definately a reality.

Price

I am a reseller, and I have to tell you, used is used. Wholesale, that unit is maybe $1200, maybe a few $$ more on Ebay. To the end user, maybe $1500

$2300, in my opinion is way out of line unless you can find a local user who wants the machine. But without looking up specific models, I think a similar T60 can be found on line well under $2000 brand new, which is not used.

Yeah, the way the go down in price its almost better to keep them for at least a year.

I was kicking around selling my T60, but i doubt it will since they drop in price.
