Advice on CPU/GPU Temps

My T42p received a Long Fan, after I detected that the cause of freezing when playing was because it was manufactured with the short fan!

Anyways, I'm using Thinkpad T43 Fan Control V.018
I guess that piece of software should read temperatures correctly for the T42p.

The GPU reaches more than 80C and the CPU too.

Do you think applying Arctic Silver 5 I could see dramatic differences in temperature decrease??

Should I get the 2 bottle solven sold by Arctic Silver?
