Is T41 Compatable with new Hitachi 5K160 160gb hard drive

I curently have T41 with 60gb 7200rpm & 2gb ram.I am looking to upgrade the HD to either hitachi 100gb 7200 or the new 160gb 5K160. I called support 4 times but recieved a different answer each time. I would prefer the 160gb but an concerned about possible cliches with bios etc.Does anyone have any experience or have any expertice on upgrading to 100 or larger hardrive and if their are cliches are ther easy fixes available, so far my machine has worked great I am not a techy and want to avoid any possible problems.Thanks

it will work seemlessly
