ThinkVantage questions

Hey folks,

I'm loving my new T60, and I'm in the process of figuring out Lenovo's ThinkVantage software. But, there are some things I'm struggling with. If there's a good guide somewhere on the Web, maybe that's all I need, but I didn't find one easily.

So, two questions:

1. I created a backup via "Rescue and Restore" and saved it to the hidden partition. It took hours, and it's huge -- probably the same size as the data it was backing up! Is there any way to compress this? Do others use this feature? Do you use the hard drive or optical discs?

2. The "Client Security Setup Wizard" loads every time I start up the computer. At first I had the option to dismiss it, but now I have to press "Cancel" every time. I've read a bunch of negative reviews of CSS7, so I don't know ... do I want it? Do I have a choice? Is it intrusive? I'm not in the CIA and I don't carry around any other terribly sensitive data.

I hear all these raves about this software, I just wish it were a bit more intuitive.

Hey Chris,
I am suffering from the same issue with the wizard. I have been trying to figure out the root issue with no luck yet. Have you had any feed back yet?
