Can you upgrade the processor in a T41 to a dual core

I currently have a T41 with centrino 1.7. Can you upgrade the processor in a T41 to a intel dual core?

no they have different pin.

You'll only be able to upgrade to the highest speed processor with 2MB cache and 400MHz FSB (which I think is a 2.1GHz from what I remember seeing in an ad in the Marketplace) :)

Highly unlikely that a T60 motherboard will fit into a T4x shell. Unless some one is willing to go through some massive modding.

But in short - NO!

doesnt the t4x series and t60s have the same shell? same size and all. I could be wrong but thats what i understood.
