For the second time in 4 years my A31p display has died. Last time (a little over a year ago) it was still under warranty and was repaired by IBM. This time I'm on my own.
Everything else works fine -- I'm using it now with an external monitor -- but would like to work with the 1600x1200 TFT again.
So... can you buy such a thing? And is it worth it?
Failing that, is there a way to get the defunct display off the box so I can at least put the external monitor behind the keyboard/CPU?
