First you need to determine if it is a dead pixel or a stuck pixel.
Look at a white background. Is the pixel darker? If so, it is dead. Dead pixels tend to stay that way. Look at a black background. Is the pixel lighter? If so, you got a stuck pixel. You can try fixing it. Search for PSP pixel video in Google. This is a video that runs a fast sequence of different colors. People have reported success fixing their stuck pixels with this video.
Then, there is the theory that rubbing the LCD area around the pixel will fix it. I think this is just an "urban myth"
Good luck with it. If you get to fix it, let us know how did your girlfriend thank you.

hehe, if your hints fixed the problem, you`d rather like her to thank YOU, right?Thinkpaddict wrote:If you get to fix it, let us know how did your girlfriend thank you.

Ditto what he said.
There have been specific programs made for the PC. One I tried let you choose the size of the box and just put that ontop of the pixel so you could continue using the computer (if you dont mind an insanely changing box while you work).
When I got my PSP (which I've since sold) it had like 4-6 stuck pixels, but just normal gameplay unstuck them. I'm guessing the video would do the same thing.
