finally ordered my x60s with ultrabase x6

#1 Post by pharao111 » Tue Aug 29, 2006 1:16 pm

finally i was able to order my x60s with the ultrabase x6, i was thinking of getting myself the 2nd Harddisk adapter aswell already but then i wasn't sure if i can put any type of the 2.5" Harddisk's on it, because the IBM/Lenovo page is only talking about that you're able to use an IBM/Lenovo Harddrive with that one...so i wonder if some of the user's tryied (succesfully) to use both parts together... because then i've got a x60s with 160gb storage capacity  p.s the guy from the shop told me that it will take approx. 2 weeks till i've got my nice black beauty in my hands :P (which i really really hope, because who knows what can happen...) and another question, i also ordered 2gb of memory for my x60s and i wonder how much of memory i can allocate to the graphic card as memory, because it would be nice if i could allocate like 512mb of memory to it (i dunno if i would need that much graphic memory, but it would be nice!). would be cool if someone could give me some advices:)

Otherwise yes, you can use any harddrive.

To answer your second question, the maximum graphics memory is 128 MB, you cannot allocate more than that.
