Strange problem with S-Video

Hi,
I've got a problem with connection my laptop to TV. I've checked on
two TV's and one the problem is only with one of them. When it is
connected to the s-video there is no picture on TV. In drivers option
there is info that TV is off. I've use this TV with my desktop PC (GeForce 4 MX) and it works ok (I use the same s-video-chinch converter).
Then I've connect thinkpad to second TV, I've made everything the same
and there is no problem.
Has anyone meet this kind of problem?

If it works on one TV and not the other, I'd lean more towards your TV being the issue.
