Hi all
following my recent postings about replacing my T22 keyboard ... I've ended up with a spare keyboard that is a slightly different variant, and so won't fit into my laptop... however the key tops are the same style, and the same layout. So I propose to replace my worn keys (some of the decals are worn or missing) with the key tops from the new keyboard.
I've done this successfully for a few keys, but I'm nervous about breaking either the key tops or the switches underneath. There are some very tiny bits of plastic involved!
Has anyone any tips on how to do this safely?
FWIW my key tops are the style with two tiny 'hooks' at each end (top & bottom) of the keys. I did see a keyboard with a different style ... I forgot to check which mfr. mine is.
Thanks for any tips
