WTB: ULTRABAY BATTERY FOR T42P

#1 Post by skitty4gzus » Thu Aug 31, 2006 10:36 pm

I would like a battery for my new t42p. Im not sure what the distinction is between the different ultrabay sizes. I know the 2000 was for my t30, but im not sure what to call the ultrabay in the T4x series? I guess its just called an ultrabay? Either way I want a battery for it, I dont really care about cycle count. I just need it for a few minutes while i swap main batteries. Thanks

For what it is worth the part numbers for the Ultrabay Slim Li-Ion Battery are

FRU 08K8191 / 08K8190
P/N 08K8189

It looks like Lenovo has these on sale right now for $79.73 down from $119.00.

I bought one recently on ebay from this seller: evisionoasis

I got it for $35 shipped, of course with no guarantees. However it was in excellent shape with 2 cycle counts.

It has been crucial to my long flights lately.
