x60s vs t60 vs t60p, Need to decide!

Decision time approaches. I can't decide between the X60s and the T60(p). Apples and oranges, I know, but. Does anyone with experience of both (or indeed either) have any comments to make? I am wondering about the following in particular:

1. What is the benefit of the T60p over the T60? I don't want integrated WWAN since I'm shortly to move to the UK.

2. How much worse is the 14.1" screen than the 15" flexview? If I go for the T60/p I'm thinking of the 14.1" for added mobility.

3. How comfortable is the X60s for extended use? (Screen, size, heat etc.)

4. If I buy and X60s with X6 ultrabay, what is the best option for the optical drive?

5. How heavy is the T60/p with the 9-cell battery? How does the battery life compare with the X60s?

6. Should I just flip a coin and be done?

Sorry for all these questions - I know some are addressed separately in other places, but I thought an integrated approach would be most useful for myself and others.

1. The p has a better gpu, faster default cpu, and i think supports more ram (4gb instead of 2)
2. I would go with the 14. Not sure about the flexview, but the 14 gets better battery life and makes the whole thing smaller/lighter.
3. I use my X60s as a main computer, and it is very comfortable. The keyboard is flawless (once you teach yourself that the backspace is smaller than nornal). The screen is very useable, just takes a few days to adjust if youre coming off a bigger notebook. Heat isnt too bad, and i have one of the hotter ones (1704-69U).
3. I got the dvd burner, depends on if you need to burn dvds or not.
4. I had a T43 (14") with 9 cell, and it is a pretty light notebook, but not as light as the X60/s. The 15" T60 gets a little over 3 hrs and the 14" is closer to 4, as I have heard. My X60 gets 5.5-6.5 with brightness up and wwan on under normal load. (8 cell batt)
5. Make the logical choice for you. As Spock might say, to "flip a coin" is illogical.

Basically heres how I look at it:
Buy the X60/s if: You need a notebook that you can carry around everywhere easily and need to get good battery life. Also, since its not a powerhorse, if you need power make sure you have a good desktop too.
Buy the T60p if: You need a powerful notebook, either because you dont have a good desktop or you need to carry it around with you, and youre willing to trade off battey life/size for this.
Buy the T60 if: You dont need the extra power of the T60p or you dont want to spend the extra dough.

I find the X60 is perfect for me, since I dont need all the power of the T60/p and I carry it around *everywhere* with me. I need good battery life and wwan. I have also used smaller notebooks in the past, so it being too small was of no concern to me. The only thing I needed were a few Lacie external hard drives. When I saw this on sale for $1799, I snagged it.

Good choice. I did the same dance a little over a year ago and started with a T42p, moved down to an X32, and then moved down some more(size, not function) to an X41, and I couldn't be happier.

These are all stellar machines. I have them all as:
1) I could not decide on just one.
2) I travel and my laptop is my only computer.
3) I actually have a need for each...

Your choice of the X60s is perfect! It's the most versatile in terms of size, weight, and functionality. Since I travel with 2, the X60s and T60p, I routinely switch and find the keyboard on the X60s as easy to use as the T60p and I have large hands. It's a brillaint little computer than you will be very happy with.
