Z60m/PM2,0/100/1 GB/integrated graphic... strong enough?

#1 Post by fenny76 » Wed Sep 06, 2006 4:21 am

I´ve just recieved my new Z60m ( full config: Z60m PM 760 2,0 / 100GB / 1 GB / 15,4w / integrated graphic accelerator Intel GM 915 with up to 128 MB shared memory / XPP ) It´s my first TP and it looks it will be a good NB, but problem is that I ordered Z60m with ATI x600 128MB instead of this. So I´m asking those of you who have some experiences with this ThinkPad configuration to share your opinions (is it strong enough for running 3D appl., games... possibly which of the newer games run smoothly? )

yes... I probably didn´t wright it entirely clearly (my English´s far from perfect ).

I had ordered Z60m via e-shop with mentioned configuration-but instead of intel GM915 there should be ATIx600(which I desired). That was the fault of eshop sellers-they sent me model with GM915 without asking or notifying me!
And now I don´t want to wait for changing the notebook just because of difference in graphics, so I´m considering keeping this one(model with GM915) permanently.
Therefor I was asking for any experience with this Z60m configuration, especially with integrated Intel GM915.

...so :?:

i'll let others provide feedback regarding CPU...

but I am hoping that you ask the seller for a refund for the difference in price between the item they described to you and the item you received.

This is possible fraud, and you should really get a refund for getting a machine that has lower specifications than what you wanted.

p.s. your English was fine, I just wanted to make sure I was 'hearing' you correctly as that is somewhat incredible that they would bait and switch like that!
