Catalyst 6.8 for T42 ?

I use on my thinkapad t42 2373-cug PM 1,8 ati9600 64mb 80gbhd 1gbram the ibm driver version 8.133..........realease in 2005

The new version of ati driver catalyst 6.8 realease in 2006 aug is compatible with my laptop?

In ati site is possible to download 2 version of this driver :

1 for notebook with ati (low dimesion download, but without lenovo ibm seller in the list of maker supported)

2 for radeon (high dimension file in 2 part for high speed dial -up)

Is possible to instal the 1 or the 2 ?

I've got installed the 6.7 version in my T42... no problems so far. I expect the 6.8 would be no different. Just make sure you pick the notebook one... please post back if you find any problem.
