How to remove a Known Password to a SATA drive via USB

#1 Post by brosen » Thu Sep 07, 2006 7:42 pm

I have a T43p with PATA interfaces, and I have an external SATA drive conected to the Laptop via an USB to SATA interface. The SATA Harddrive is Password protected (from my old X60, I've sold) and want to use the SATA HD nonetheless I do not know how to remove the Password, I need a utility to do it, as I said I KNOW the password, I just need the tool, because when the laptop boots it will not ask password for USB connected HD, please your help, thanks

You are screwed unless you find someone with a X60 or T60, remount the drive, and remove the password.
