Some fullscreen games kickback to the desktop!!!

i'm trying to run some (fullscreen) games, and they load up and i can see the loading screen, but after a couple of seconds, the game minimizes and returns me to the desktop, and if i click the game on the taskbar, it goes to fullscreen, but kicks me back to the desktop!!

I've also started to to have this problem running Dxdiag!! I run the Direct3D test, and they show up fine, but then it aborts a few seconds later saying that I pressed a key!!!!

I was gonna post this a few days ago,but I waited to see what others had to say......

But,could it be this???...If you have SP2 installed,don't bother installing this,as its included in SP2

it's not that, but thanks for looking. The problem has to be something running in the background. DxDiag just quits on the Direct3D test saying that i stopped the test because i pressed a key, even though i did not.
