Easiest SXGA+ upgrade ever.

Checkout what I just found. Screw taking the cover apart, just replace the whole thing!

Two points:
1) the eBay item you noted is "new" only if that means that someone took the trouble to assemble the top half from new parts ..or.. if someone removed the top half from a new T43. That assembly canNOT be bought that way, pre-assembled, from IBM/Lenovo.
2) note that it is a 15" unit; he does not state it in the listing, and ... well, if you were expecting a 14.1" unit ...

In my case i prefer to look for stuff while drinking my cerveza the more i drink the more relaxed i am when expending money :lol:

Others have put 2.1GHz cpu's in T40's, why not put a 15" LCD on a 14" machine - you'll be king of the upgrades! How bad can it look!!!

Drinking and upgrading is very tough.

Is that possible? :) I mean the upgrading of 14" to 15" !
