ultranav scrolling

I'm having some issues on my z60t with scrolling. I have updated to the latest drivers/wizard and I still have problems. when scrolling using the side of the touchpad in MS Word the cursor will hang and it won't scroll. In firefox the scrolling (w/touchpad) is erratic and the cursor blinks back and forth betweeen a scrollbar, shaded cursor, and regular cursor.

This is really annoying and I haven't found any solutions via several websites and google.
