Screen compatiblility

Hi there,

Following on from my previous question; my T20 currently has a Samsung LTN141x8-L00 XGA screen, (fru 05K9678) I have found a Hitachi SXGA screen on eBay (fru 46L2492)

Obviously it will fit in my T20 but will the computer see it and will the higher resolution be supported?
