hey guys just got my first thinkpad, love it to death

Just a coulpe questions, does this have that little security port?

how do I enable the famous ibm security stuff?

what type of stuff will need updating ?

Does this come with a firewall or do I need to download one? any sugestions?

Congrats!

I tried activating the IBM security chip, and gave up after 1/2 hour of installing things and after reading that if I mess it up, I can use the computer anymore I.e. forget the master password. Also, the main issue for me, since everything is encrypted there is a performance hit to read/write - It may not be a big deal, but, I want the fastest machine possible.

Though, the idea of a super-duper-highly secure laptop is very appelaing and just plain cool...
