PCI 2.1 vs PCI 2.2... how to tell which one(s) you have
PCI 2.1 vs PCI 2.2... how to tell which one(s) you have
I've looked thru the documentation I have for my PC300GLs, and I can't find if its PCI slots are PCI 2.1 or PCI 2.2 compliant. Anyone know?
TP360 • TP365x • i1452 • TP T42 • Intellistation Z Pro
Looks like it's PCI 2.2... I believe PCI 2.2 includes a spec for Power On LAN ("wake-up" via LAN), and those connectors are on the PC300GL's motherboard. Also, other research I did seems to indicate that the change from PCI 2.1 to PCI 2.2 happened around the time that computers started shipping with PIIIs.
