I took the plung and cut the power to my advanced dock's main fan, and fan above my installed X1300 video card.
My X1300 has a big fan on it, so I figure it will get cooled quite well blowing out the side.
What do I need to watch out for? I know RonS cut his along time ago with no problems so far.
I can't seem to find a utility to measure components in the Advanced Doc. I am not even sure what's in there to heat up.
The ATI Tray Too won't load. The author thinks it's because the system still thinks that X1400 on the motherboard is installed, but it doesn't show up in the OS.
I just want to make sure my Dock doesn't smoke someday.
The only ports I use are the USB and sound card outputs.
