Max resolution on T60

#1 Post by rajat272 » Thu Sep 14, 2006 6:39 am

Hi,

I have a T60 (2007-63A) with 128 MB ATI Radeon X1400. Currently the max. resoltion supported is 1400X1050. Wondering is there a way same can be increased ? If so, I'd appreciate if someone could kindly point out as to what I'd need to do.

Thanks in advance.

Get a T60p

That is the max resolution for a T60. A T60p is needed for 1600x1200.

You can't increase your resolution beyond the "native" resolution for the LCD panel you have. But you can hook up an external monitor with resolutions up to 1920x1200, and your Thinkpad can drive it with no problems.

the t60p will still have th emax resolution of 1400 1050 on the lcd for the 14 inch. You can get a higher res if you go to the 15 inch, but isn't that just too too small?

I love the 1600x1200 on a 15" screen.
